I have the same problem, John. I’m running the 64-bit Fall Creator’s Update of Windows 10, version 1709 (Build 16299.19). In my case, since I have a Pro license, it says TeraCopy Pro 3.27 at the top of the TeraCopy window.

This was really weird! Problem is solved now.
I downloaded the executable file again, installed TC again and now the correct version is displayed (3.26) at the top of the TC window and in the “About” section.

UI appears to override the Windows ClearType setting. On my Win 8.1, ClearType is disabled in Control Panel but TeraCopy 3 ignores this settings and applies ‘font smoothing’ (subpixel rendering) against this setting. Please remove this default and use the Os setting as ClearType is not favoured on all displays and resolution settings. Thanks

TeraCopy: Is there a way the old version 2 interface can be applied to the version 3 TeraCopy as the old interface was much easier and faster to use, especially when it comes to copy-skip replace-verify… now i have to go inside a menu drop down to select verify the files. MrCyberdude

A dedicated button to verify/compare all files will be added to File Replace dialog in the next version.

That’s good to hear, much appreciated.

Is there any way a BASIC button could be added that allows teracopy to revert to the 2.3 look ?

The reason I ask is I have found myself removing teracopy and putting the old UI back on.

Any chance of having the File List as a Tree system? That way we can collapse the parent folder and hide the subsequent subfolders/files when we want to see a quick summary of successful folder/directory transfers?

Yes, this feature is planned in a future version.

When finishing a transfer, teracopy crashes because it can’t present notification in the notification center. Windows 10 Fall 2017 creators update. Any idea how to fix it?

It works for me. The folder date is updated back to the original modify date as soon as the complete copy process is finished or if you press “stop”

    Hi,

I want to be able to skip all files with same size and date, and then be able to judge on a case by case basis.
Maybe I am blind, but currently it does not seem to have that option (you need to skip all, or choose to overwrite either older or larger – but those blanket rules do not help me.

With the latter, it would be great to have an option to keep both files as well.

As a bit of context, I started looking for a file copy program after having to go back to Windows 7 from Windows 8. The windows 8 file transfer operation was incredible, and I have yet to find any third party program that is as good as that (skip all same size and date, and then have a bulk list of all files with same name with ready stats as to how the duplicates compare – it makes it sooo easy to scan and make a judgement call as to which of the files you want)

The latest version of Teracopy is almost there, but it does not allow for the kind of nuance I need

If possible when considering next version, it would be great if you could consider these issues – even just a button or drop down to skip all files with same size and date would be brilliant.

Been trying to purchase Teracopy for about 20 minutes now with Paypal but can’t.. The Codesector redirect page seems to send me to a strange looking Paypal page telling me that there is a security issue, it then asks me to confirm some location security details. Obviously I left immediately!
My Paypal account and login to Paypal work just fine on my PC. I’ve been using it tonight for a couple of ebay purchases etc so all is fine here.
Could you please fix this please Codesector so that I can buy Teracopy.

    Many Thanks

I was just trying to see where TC would take me if I would to chose to pay via PalPal that’s how I paid the last time I was purchasing TC (2 months ago) and it took me to legit PayPal website.

Check (scan) your system for malware that maybe is sitting between you 2 redirecting you to scam PayPal

Yes that was the first thing that came to mind… However my system runs Avira AV and is tested daily for malware & browser hijackers etc with various softwares (separately) and all is ok.

Other websites were taking me to the correct Paypal page.. it was only happening when trying to buy from Codesectors page. We’re in contact with them over this matter though and are look into it ?
